Red Witch is a small company from New Zealand, which makes analog guitar effect pedals, based in a small town on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
The decision to produce pedals came from a long lasting love affair with analog guitar equipment and from the knowledge that there were people who had been unable to get the 'sound' they were searching for.
Red Witch strives to blend art and technology into our pedals. They aim to create devices that inspire the player, both sonically and visually. They are dedicated to creating unique new pedals, not clones.
Original Chrome Series
Bass Fuzz Sub-octave
Whether you want to create a distant rumble or bring about thunderous chaos, the Red Witch Zeus belongs on your pedalboard. Featuring two completely independent effects, this bass fuzz sub-octave pedal not only delivers a beautifully raucous silicon fuzz, but you also get an incredibly smooth analog sub-octave generator that's so intense you can feel the earth move beneath your feet. Bassists are amazed by the tracking accuracy of the Zeus, thanks to its all-analog design. Seriously, this pedal's tactile springiness needs to be felt to be believed. Complete with a separate wet/dry mix for each effect, the Red Witch Zeus bass fuzz sub-octave pedal makes a unique addition to any bass player's bag of tricks.
The first pedal in Red Witch's Original Chrome series, Violetta Delay delivers up to 1000ms of great-sounding analog-style delay - from a single repeat to total self oscillation. Violetta is voiced like vintage tape echoes: high frequencies roll off as repeats decay. And just like the classic BBD delays, increasing the delay time adds fur to the sound. With Violetta, you can even control your repeat level with an expression pedal. Upgrade your pedalboard with the Red Witch Violetta.
Suboctave and Bass Overdrive
Red Witch's first bass stompbox, the Factotum overdrive/octave pedal, delivers an all-analog overdrive and sub-octave effect in a shiny chrome package. Voiced to keep your low end huge, the Red Witch Factotum is a bass player's dream come true. Dual footswitchable effects let you add overdrive and a sub-octave effect to your bass rig. Use them separately or use them together for a massive sound. The unique Red Witch Factotum bass overdrive/octave effect pedal delivers massive tone-sculpting effects that won't kill your bass's low end!
Haven't found the perfect chorus for your pedalboard yet? Look no further than the Red Witch Empress Chorus pedal. Unlike most chorus pedals on the market, the analog Empress Chorus features a controllable delay time setting. This gives you the ability to dial in your dream chorus settings. You also get control of brightness, mix, depth, speed, and even the input gain and tonality. At the flick of a switch the Empress is also a vibrato pedal. The Red Witch Empress Chorus is waiting for you to create your perfect chorus.
Chorus & Tremolo
The Red Witch Medusa stereo chorus/tremolo pedal is back and better than ever! You'll love the flexible chorus and tremolo settings, but most of all you'll love the unique chorustrem effect. Powerful sound-scultping controls give you complete control of Medusa's sonic manipulations. Control the chorus delay time, depth and speed of the chorus and tremolo, the mix of dry and wet signal, and more. You can even use an expression control pedal to control the speed of your effects. Medusa is most-well known for its unique and innovative chorustrem setting that mixes both effects together. Grab the Red Witch Medusa and add a cool new vibe to your pedalboard.
Analog Synth Pedal
Add true synth sounds to your pedalboard with the Red Witch Synthotron. Get creative and wild with the Synthotron's dual synth setup. One synth offers one or two octaves up and the other one or two octaves down. Use them alone or combined together. A switchable tremolo function is incorporated into the synths to give you everything from subtle fluctuations to crazy stutter-like effects. Also included is a separate, and footswitchable, envelope filter. Use the filter by itself or in tandem with the synths. Create unique and identifiable tones with the Red Witch Synthotron.
Plug into the Red Witch Fuzz God II fuzz effects pedal for more variety than you'd ever expect from a fuzz pedal. Whether you like smooth and sweet Hendrix-style fuzz, or the Yardbirds-style sputtering fizz, the Fuzz God II has all the tones you're looking for. The real force behind the versatility of the Fuzz God II comes from its Sputter control, which basically lowers the voltage in one of the transistors to give you the almost-gated sound of vintage fuzz boxes. And with the Wrath control, you can add sub-octave mayhem to your tone with the click of a footswitch. Long story short, you'll find a whole world of tasty fuzz tones in the Red Witch Fuzz God II fuzz effects pedal.
Are you searching for a delay with a unique personality? The Red Witch Titan Delay is the pedal you have been looking for. Titan Delay is not your typical effect, for starters it has three independent delays in a single pedal. You can blend and mix these delays together to create entirely new delay sounds. There is also a built-in modulation loop that allows you to add another effect pedal to the first delay. Add a touch of chorus, tremolo, or whatever you like, to give the first delay color and vibe. Red Witch's Titan Delay gives you an entirely new palette to paint your musical inspirations with.
The amazingly versatile Red Witch Pentavocal Tremolo effects pedal gives you more control than you've ever had before over the sound of your tremolo effect.
