Celebrating the one year anniversary in their new building, Musical Distributors Group hosted a “thank you” summer gala for everyone involved in their growth and success over the past 13 years. Local business partners, vendors, dealers, friends, family and manufacturers from all over the US, Canada, and Germany, attended to enjoy the festivities and music from the Vinny Valentino band.
MDG also unveiled their new dealer Experience Center, showcasing products from all of their distributed brands. Complete with a concert line array system, production lighting rig and full backline on stage, the Experience Center boasts over 50 lighting fixtures, 20 speaker systems, plus a myriad of instrument amps, effects pedals, headphones and peripheral gear. Sound systems ranging from personal to large scale and installed are all on display and readily demonstrated.
“Our goal in building the Experience Center was to provide personal interaction with our customers and bring them to us! We now offer a comfortable and comprehensive environment, in which dealers and clients can see, hear, touch and fully experience our brands” states Steven Savvides, President of MDG. “We believe spending quality time with our dealers, to fully understand their needs, is the key to a successful partnership. Dealers fly in for a day of presentations, capped off with a great dinner and perhaps a quick sightseeing trip to NYC before returning home. We provide all the transportation, lodging and meals. We have some fun, and send them off with a much better understanding of our brands and the opportunities we have to offer. It’s a total win-win.”
