MDG to Exclusively Distribute the Innovative i-Tab!

The i-Tab allows you to download chords and lyrics to all your favourite songs from www.i-tab.com and begin building an infinite song library! You can play synchronised backing tracks through the player or through your TV so everyone can join in, or you can download cover videos to teach you a cool version of a song so you can learn it. The i-Tab does so much and its so easy to use, and with 4GB memory you can host over 2000 song tabs, 100 backing tracks, and 50 cover videos. If you are learning to play you can also download our free tuition video modules to help you along.

MDG Demonstrates Pacemaker at Dubspot

We dropped off a couple pieces of the Pacemaker with the tremendously talented teachers at Dubspot, the famous innovative electronic music production & DJ institute in New York City. All it took was a brief demostration for all them to fall desperately in love with it! Don't be surprised if they start working it into their curriculum in the near future!

Robbie Williams Uses HIWATT for BBC Show

Robbie Williams and his band, featuring “Buggles” frontman and world renowned producer, Trevor Horn, have chosen to use HIWATT amplifiers for his upcoming Roundhouse show. The show will be recorded for the BBC’s Electric Proms 2009 on Tuesday October 20th. The show features new material from Robbie's forthcoming album 'Reality Killed the Video Star', a nod to Trevor Horn's eighties smash hit, alongside some classic tracks.

New HIWATT Artist: Draven

Up-and-coming British rock band Draven are the latest HIWATT endorsees, with guitarists Jim and Frank Paoli using DR103 amplifiers with customized Draven panels. The band has released their debut album “Eden” to critical acclaim. Hailed as a must-have, monster of an album with tracks already featured on Classic Rock cover-mounts and winning "track of the day" on several online radio stations, while also being awarded Rock Radio's "future classic track" award. This band is one to watch!

HIWATT Supply The Power To American Idol

Hiwatt have supplied a 100w Head and 4x12 Cabinet to Rickey Minor, the music director and guitarist from the backing band for the hugely successful and world famous “American Idol” TV show. The show will return to screens in January 2010 and this new season promises to deliver amazing, undiscovered talent with plenty of surprises along the way.

HIWATT Presents The Killers with Custom White Combos

Hiwatt presented two Custom Combos to guitarist, David Keuning, and bassist, Mark Stoermer, of the Killers before their Manchester Arena show on March 10th 2009. Both Combos were covered in white and feature each player's name on the control panel. David and Mark were very pleased with the amps and actually ordered several more. The Killers continue to use HIWATT on all their tours.

New HIWATT Artist: Klaxons

Indie/Dance/Punk/Rock band Klaxons have just ordered 3 x White Studio/Stage Combos to work on the follow up to their debut album "Myths of the Near Future" which won the Mercury Music Prize in 2007. Hopefully with the new album, they can repeat that success! We look forward to seeing James Righton and Simon Taylor using thier new combos regardless!

Coldplay Play HIWATT on The Brit Awards

HIWATT amps were on show at last week's Brit Awards. Coldplay bassist, Guy Berryman, chose to use HIWATT bass gear for the award ceremony in their performance of Viva la Vida. They unfortunately came home from London's Earls Court empty handed after being nominated for 4 awards, and their album receiveing countless rave reviews.
